SRM-XI-MDM

Hi PI masters,

I have a problem with my config in SRM-XI-MDM scenario. When we run the program in SRM, the item list and items are not transferred to XI. I already checked the payload and I compared it with DEV payload. There were items and item list in the XI DEV payload. Because of this, no data is transferred to MDM. I have already checked previous threads but all of them were not answered. Please help. Thanks!

what adapter are you using here? If it is one which can be monitored from RWB you can check the log....

Is it that the entire message is not transferrred or just some section of it?

just a section sir. the part where the items are listed. there are no errors in the adapter framework sir.

just a section sir. the part where the items are listed. there are no errors in the adapter framework sir.

then the reason can be the Mapping program is not able to pass the elements to target.....

Check ur RFC occurence if it is "0 .. unbound" to hande item values.

Check mappping program sir , this will very well handle u r problem sir

how do i check for the RFC occurence? is it in Integ Server specs?

I have already tried Defining Backend for SRM for CATALOG but it didn't work. The payload in XI is still INCOMPLETE.

check RFC occurence in MM or in Interface Mapping....as we normally check

check the Inbound Message in SXMB_MONI....this will show you what message hits the XI server....

Now if the items are missing in this Inbound Message then blame it on SRM....

If everything fine in there then check the output message of your Mapping Program (this also from SXMB_MONI)....if the items are not coming out from here then change the mapping accordingly....

I hope it is exactly the same structure that is being used in SRM and XI....

Regards,

Abhishek.

Hi

Normally RFC import declared in 'TABLE" tab would appear as "0..unbound" when it is imported into XI ID.

i think i know the source of the error. it's the ABAP report BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG report. It's not generating the items that are needed

Hi

Sender RFC

How u called in u r program to connecto to XI , Is item getting generated in Program level and not transfering to XI??

it's being generated in program level (bbp_ccm_transfer_catalog). there are entries in the payload. the problem is it's too short. All the 'items' element in the Catalog node are missing

clicked forced initial in the report bbp_ccm_transfer_catalog then changed passive to active in ID
