Hi
Like SAP Benefits module is designed for US and all international benefits..
But most of the benefits infotypes are for US benefits
there are a few other countries like swiss, german, uk and other international benefits which will have configuration but less dependency on infotypes..
a few other country infotypes are
: Infotype 0036 (Social Insurance CH)
Infotype 0038 (Tax u2013 CH)
: Infotype 0046 (Pension Fund - CH)
: Infotype 0048 (Residence Status - CH)
Kind Regards
Rafi

Hi Mansi,
The Benefits are divided primarily into four major categories which are Health, Insurance, Savings and Flexible Spending Account. Except these there are further like Stock Purchase, Credit and Miscellaneous Plans. Usually companies configure the first four benefits iin their organization.
Health Plan constitutes Medical, Dental and Vision plans
Insurance Plans Constitutes of AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismember), Basic Life, UNUM, CIGNA, LTD (Long term disability) and few more
Savings Plan constitutes of 401K, 403B, PERS (Public Employees retirement Scheme for CP Benefit Plan) & TRS (Teachers Retirement Scheme for TP Benefit Plan)
Flexible Spending Account constitutes of HCRA (Health Care Reimbursement Account) and DCRA(Day Care reimbursement account).
The customization part has been handled by Sikinder post so will not be handling again but if you have any specific question you can ask me
Now for Tangible and Intangible Benefits:
Tangible benefits are ones that can be measured and ideally quantified in dollars. For example:
A sales training program increased sales by 2 percent.
A customer service program increased customer satisfaction survey results by 10 percent.
A safety training program reduced the number of accidents over one year by 30 percent.
A quality control program reduced defects by 20 percent.
A software training program reduced calls to the help desk by 30 percent.
These examples all show very real, measurable, tangible results. To get valuable return on investment information, however, these results must be turned into dollar values.
Intangible Benefits:
These types of benefits are the ones that are usually assumed to result from a training program, but are difficult or impossible to measure. Although specific dollar values can not be attached to intangible benefits, they are still important to discuss and to document. Examples of intangible benefits from specific training programs might include:
An increase in morale and employee engagement resulting from new hire orientation training.
Improvements in teamwork resulting from diversity training.
Additional sensitivity and a more professional workplace resulting from sexual harassment training.
Less stress among students who complete conflict management training.
Less anxiety after completing a change management program.
But the classification of benefit plans available in SAP benefits is not as per these.
Hope this will be of help to you

Guds
