Hide SAP BW variables on crystal reports

Hi,

I'm creating a crystal report on CR2008 by using SAP toolbar, so report data source is a sap bw query. This query has a lot of optional variables that can be left blank in order to execute the query on SAP BW.

On CR, when I execute the report, all parameters that came from BW query are being prompted, so in the case I need not to establish a value on those optional variables, I need to check "set as null" property on each of them (there can be 30 or more!).

I tried to look at parameter properties on CR, but I believe nothing can be done to not prompt these parameters (some properties like optional prompt are greyed out, and they are not modifiable).

Is there any way (apart from editing BW query and removing those BW variables, scenario that we don't like) to hide these parameters in CR so that the user is not prompted with them?

Thanks and best regards,

David.
