inspection lot creation for Movement type 531

Dear experts,

following is the procedure

1) Material enter against purchase order SFG

2) Quality checks that and send to unrestricted (its an sampling inspection)

3) Issue this material against production order

4) order is confirmed and GR is done for FG

5) FG material goes to quaity for inspection

6) At the time of inspection of FG it is found that FG is rejected because of vendor material

so we keep that stock in blocked stock. now we create an salvage order by CO07 and issue FG and received SFG vendor material by 531 movement

now my prob is i want to record the defect against vendor material because of which it is rejected and my clint wants the report on reson basis

go to OMBS... Here you need to do two things..

1. control reason..here u can mention reason for movement for 531 is requied or optional etc..

2. reason for movement..here u need to maintain the reasons as per ur wish..

like 101---damaged

107--- scratched

etc..

If all these are set, then only you can enter the reasons in the MB11 screen and the same can be viewed in MB51 by adding the reason in the layout...

but i want to know that i can enter only one resone aginst an movement but if have three reason for rejection then how can i do this.

or i have to do movement three time with diffrent reason

you can have any no. of reaons for a movement type.. you can add any number of erasons in OMBS...By clicking new entries..

And in the respective screen like MB11 you can select the reason you have configured...

I can definr any no of resone for the movement type in OMBS i got that point

my problem is when i received the material by 531 movement after salvage order and i got three diffrent reasone to enter for defect but it is not possible to enter u cab enter only one reason for one movment how to map this.

should i go for three diffrent line item and three reason

I am wondered how this requirement arose.. A reason can be unique and single only.. or you can have like this...

Reason 1 : spoiledexpireddamaged+scratched... But this will give u the information only.THis is a single reason...

I don have anymore on this..

You can proceed as per KARTHICK said,

you added up the reasons and enter.

or pls select the major reason for the default material and enter that alone.

when you recieved material with 531 there is a field called text field there you can enter desired result and make this field is mandatory, this fields comes in amostly standard report which help you to generate report .
