inspection lot creation for Movement type 531

Dear experts,

following is the procedure

1) Material enter against purchase order SFG

2) Quality checks that and send to unrestricted (its an sampling inspection)

3) Issue this material against production order

4) order is confirmed and GR is done for FG

5) FG material goes to quaity for inspection

6) At the time of inspection of FG it is found that FG is rejected because of vendor material

so we keep that stock in blocked stock. now we create an salvage order by CO07 and issue FG and received SFG vendor material by 531 movement

now my prob is i want to record the defect against vendor material because of which it is rejected and my clint wants the report on reson basis

Dear,

Go to OMJJ , enter the movement type 531, double click the field selection And click new entry. Enter movement type 531 and give field name GRUND, and click required entry.

Then in OMBS you can define the reason for movement type 531 as per your requirements.

While doing the good movement you have option to select the the reason.

You can use Report MBGR Display Material Documents by Movement Reason.

Thanx for ur reply this is realy help full

i need the report for day wise but MBGR is an consolidated report now i m devloping a new report with help of ABAP if u have a report which gives me daily sagrrigation of quantity on the basis of resone then share ur knowldge with me

MB51you will get Reason for movement along with Text day wise.

In display Variant and add the Reason for Movement in the Layout.

please check by activating 05 inspection. you will get an inspection lot for the same for doing the defect recording
