Trying SSO between SAP EP and BOE

Hi,

I am trying to configure SSO between SAP EP and BOE.

I am trying to follow a guide. And I have searched and found the steps I have to do:

- you need to setup the BOE Server with the SAP Authentication

- you need to establish trust between you portal and the SAP source system

- the SAP roles need to be imported to the BOE server

- all machines need to be in the same domain

- all URLs involved need to be fully qualified

- your SAP source system needs to accept SSO tickets

- your Portal needs to generate SSO tickets

Some points are ambigous for us.

- you need to setup the BOE Server with the SAP Authentication

I don't understand why is this point necessary... so if SAP EP authentificates to Active Directory and if I get ActiveDirectory authentification on BOE why do I need SAP Authentification?

- you need to establish trust between you portal and the SAP source system

That's point, it's clear, I don't know how do... but clear

- the SAP roles need to be imported to the BOE serve

The same issue as point number one... I don't understand why

- all machines need to be in the same domain

- all URLs involved need to be fully qualified

- your SAP source system needs to accept SSO tickets

- your Portal needs to generate SSO tickets

those are clear.

So.. does anyone have a step by step manual to follow?

Kind regards
