Hi,

I get the following error message u201CJCS-108003: No backends could retrieve the specified jobfile (ID: 664,788); failure possibly transient.u201D

while running a CPS job on a unix platform agent. Even the command "ls" return that message.

Could someone help, pls.

Hi Clement,

It is probably not really dependent on the actual command executed. When and where exactly do you see this error message ? It looks more like a configuration issue with the platform agent.

Anton.

Hi Anton,

You're right. It does not depend on the command (that was just an example).

I get this error in the stderr.log when the job is in status error or in the stdout.log if status completed in the monitor.

Hi,

This probably means your central server cannot access the file for some reason. Which version of CPS are you using exactly (click the "i" in the top-right corner of the ui, should read something like M26.##-#####) ?

Did you run into any errors during the installation of the Unix agent ?

Are there any further/related operator messages, or messages in the default traces of the CPS java stack ?

Hi,

It's version M26.12-29604.

I'm not sure there was errors during the installation of the Unix agent.

I'll check that with the system guys.

Hi,

jobs are running now on the platform agent. It was a problem on the security tab of the PA.

I grant rights to my redwood user and it works after reboot of the PA.

I'm now dealing with this error below :

"/home/redwood/agent/var/SAP_RW0_41/PI-DEV/jobs/71565/run_KSH[120]: ./: 0403-006 Execute permission denied"

eXecute rights is ok on the scripts of the unix target server.

Hi,

Which security option did you choose when installing the platform agent: setuid, sudo, ... ?

And did you specify a user in the "run as user" field ?

Hi Anton,

I solved the problem, it was just a space in the command line.

I really appreciate your help.
