Bex Web timeout

Hi,

we have report that designed in Bex Web (WAD) on BI 2004s and is presented within a portal (7.0).

When we execute the report and leave it after idle time (about 15-30 minutes) we get error in the report:

INFO: The maximum idle time permitted between navigation steps was exceeded and the session has been ended. Restart the BEx Web application.

What parameter sets the idle time of Wad report ?

Hi Jorge,

Please take a look at SAP note 1044258.

It is a global system setting, so you can not change this at report level.

Hi Jorgen,

The note might not describe your exact problem. But the solution in the note provides the nescessary information where to change the timeout.
