Mandatory Characteristic of Profitability Segment is ignored while run BDC

Hi all,

We have created an operating RY01 for some characteristics used in Profitability Segment. Among these characteristics, we have a characteristic "Season" is defined as mandatory field.

- So when we launch transaction FB70 to create a customer invoice, when clicking on "Profit. segment" button to go to screen "Assignment to a Profitability Segment", in this screen ("Assignment to a Profitability Segment"), we have certainly the field "Season" (which is mandatory by definition of operating RY01) require a filling for value. It's all OK, this field "Season" is mandatory as well as defined in operating RY01.

- But, in BDC, when launching FB70 by BDC, the field "Season" isn't mandatory, it means this field "Season" don't require a filling for value. This field is empty and we can create completely customer invoice. (In mode dialog of FB70, if the field "Season" is empty, we can't create customer invoice because of mandatory of this field). It's not OK, this field "Season" isn't mandatory as defined in operating RY01.

Anyone know why this field "Season" isn't mandatory in BDC, please help me?

All attributes defined of characteristic in operating are applied in BDC or not? If we would like to apply these attributes in BDC, how should we do?
