JIT call with event driven Kanban

Hi All,

I want to trigger an JIT call based on event driven Kanban. I do not want to fix the size of the Kanban. I want to incorporate this trigger into a Z program which also calculates required quantity. What are the ways I can trigger an event driven Kanban? What are the prerequisites.
