Storage Location not determined inside delivery document

Hi

The following customization done for Automatic storage loaction, but SL is not determined on Delivery document

1. SL is assigned to Plant

2. SL.Rule ( MALA ) assigned to Delivery Type

3. In delivery item category following switched enabled. " Relavant for picking", "SL required","Determine SL".

4. Assignment of Plant/Shipping point/SL is done..

Still SL is not determined inside the delivery document..

Is the "Storage condition" assignment in point 4 mandatory for "Automatic storage location determination?

Pls help us on the above issue

Thanks for every one ..Issue solved..I assigned Storage conditions. I wonder because i didnt assign the storage condition to material master , but Storage location is determined...

hello, friend.

maintain General Plant Data/Storage 1 view in the material master. you have to specify storage condition so that the IMG settings (assign picking location) will be effective.

in assigning picking location, you will combine plant + shipping point + storage condition to determine storage location...

Storage Location assigned in Material master for that plant.. Is Storage conditions assignment to Shipping point/Plant/SL mandatory to have automatic pick location determination?

i.e for exmaple my values are

PLANT - 2100

SHIPPING POINT - 2100

STORAGE LOCATION - TG01

STORAGE CONDITION - 01

ASSIGNMENTS

1 .2100+2100 = TG01

2. 2100210001 = TG01

whicch of the above assignments required for "Automatic storage location determination"

As u are using MALA, the storage location will Shipping point / plant / storage condition

Maintain storage location in the material master MRP2 view

There is one field Prod.stor.location enter storage location there. And it will come in sales order.

Generally Storage location is determined in delivery.
