Hi ,
can you tell me the signification of the step RAP (reimbursement allowance and perks) in Indian Payroll.
why it is there only for India not for any other country.

Hi,
Reimbursements, Allowances and Perks:
R- Reimbursements,
A- Allowances
P- Perks
Reimbursements are those components that are paid against a claim or an expense incurred by an employee. For example, medical reimbursement against bills. These may have maximum limits with additional rules applicable when availed.
Allowances are a part of the employee's total salary, which is normally paid through the payslip and are paid on a regular basis. These could be monthly, like House Rent Allowance (HRA) or on an annual basis like Leave Travel Allowance (LTA). These are always cash components and not paid in kind.
Perks are that component of the total salary, which are generally availed by the employee in terms of kind on which the employer specifies a limit. In some cases, no amounts are specified and it is claimed against actual expenses incurred.
above concepts have for india only, remaining countries they don't have above concepts.
For RAP go to PC00_M40_REMP.

Devi
