Using * in a selection criteria

Hi,

I want to use the * caracter in a selection criteria to find the following customer name: 105262 CANADA INC. (CITE NISSAN)

I'm using search criteria CITEN* but the system cannot find customer name 105262 CANADA INC. (CITE NISSAN). Why is that so?
