Add component BI_CONT

We have installed a new NetWeaver 7,0 ABAP system with Ehp1. We installed component SAP_BW but did not install BI Content.

Now I would like to add BI content (Component BI_CONT), how do I proceed ??

Brian,

Just to add:-First you need install BI_CONT addon using tcode SAINT & then apply all BI_CONt pacthes using tcode SAPM.

Make sure you upgarde your SPAM/SAINT pacth level to latest one before you go for BI_CONT Installation/patch upgrade.

My suggestion is to install BI_CONTENT along with its support packs simultaneously using SAINT.

There is no need to install BI_CONTENT and then install its SPs using SPAM

Hello Brian,

You will have to install BI_CONT add-on and then apply its patches

you can find the ad-on in service marketplace and its patches too

this is what i followed.i.e.

Installation of the BI_CONT add-on component and applying patches simultaneously.
