Version 11 Runtime Access Denied on other users

I am using crystal reports to run reports. I only have one issue, when I log onto my xp pro workstation - install the crystal runtime version 11 - everthing works fine.

But if another user logs on my same workstation they get "Access Denied" when try to run the same reports.

I recall with the 8.5 runtime installation there was a choice to install for ALL users or just SELF. This version 11 doesnt have that option.

Are there some DLL's I can register for the user?

Is there a switch for the install shield that will run for all users?

I suggest searching Install shields forum for how to enable for all users. I would htink installing under a local Admin account should be enough but you should check IS site for more info.

Runtime is being installed as Admin.

Hello,

It may be that the users are not part of the admin group and therefore the folder where those reports are saved have permission set to no access.

Try moving the reports to a shared folder and in code make sure you are using the OpenAsTempCopy property.
