No Output Message Required On PO change

Former Member

Hi,

Our client does not want the output message to be generated automatically in case of changes being done in a PO....while the automatic determination of output message should continue in case of a New PO.

We have done the config settings in the Fine Tune control of the message types and have deleted the change related entries against the message types

What happens is when a PO is generated and the output is PROCESSED, if we go and change the PO, it again generates an output message with NEU as the message type....and the change indicator is not ticked!!! We do not want this to generate automatically.......

Can anyone suggest how to overcome this issue?

If you have deleted the config settings in the Fine Tune control of the message types than system should not trigger the change output but for existing PO it might so create the new PO and than try to change becuase may the PO is already exist and you have deleted the config that's the reason it still generating change output

also try to remove the config for PO change relavant field in OMFS

remove check mark of first column for EKKO and EKPO and try

Hi,

It does not happen with existing POs alone.....it happens to new POs as well. Whenever we try to change any field (even a field that is not ticked as print change relevant in the config) it generates a new output message with message type NEU.

Is there anything else that can be tried?

Thanks...

If you have removed the config from fine tuned control and still it is printing that means somthing wrong somewere

ask you developer to debug and findout why it is printing eventhoug the config is removed.

is there any custom code is exist for thiskind of thing or not that ABAPer can check

Yes....I have already initiated that.....but just wanted to confirm that there is no config that I have missed.

I to was of the opinion that there is a bug somewhere in the program.......

nyways, thanks for the replies....

When you go to maintain message types for Purchase order and click on the NEU output type, is the multiple issuing checkbox selected on the General data tab? If so, try unchecking it and retesting.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer, however there still seems to be some technical problem......as one of my ABAPers has found out.

But still it was a good suggestion
