DIFFERENCE IN PHYSICAL STOCK AND SYSTEM STOCK

Hi experts,

I was trying to tally my storage location physical stock and sap stock. I came to know that for some materials i have got excess stock in sap when compared to physical stock...How can i make the adjustments?.. Can some one explain me the detailed steps or procedures to make both the stocks unique. Once in a month my company used to compare the stock levels?

hi,

you can have the PI document created for the same...enter count and post the differences for the respective material..

when you do this...system adjust the accounts automatically....

the account postings will be:

1.stock account - debit

2. gains from PI - credited...

Hi,

DO physical inventory.

1.MI01-create physical inventory document for material

2.MI04-Enter the book stok

3.MI07-Post your bbok stock.

MI01 - Create physical inventory document.

MI04 - Enter Inventory Count

MI07 - Post Inventory diferences

or else you can use MI10.

hi,

If you wanna change it for single material then use the above given tcodes like MI01/04/07/08 etc......but if you are using for many materials and wanna save the time..then can also use the session tcodes as well...

MI32, MI33, MI34, MI35/37/38/39 etc...

Check the difference list from MI20...
