Hi

Go to the root WBS --- settlement rule --- FXA (fixed asset) or CTR ( cost center)

put the %age you desire for each WBS

Hi,

Create two settlement recievers in allocation structure

one for AUC and another for costcenter.

allocate the source cost element to service cost element and the other to material cost element.

Take a look at the settlement rule.

It basically should allow the WBSE to be setteled to CCTR as well as FXA.

If not, then please do the relevent config.

Then go to the WBS settlement rule tab.

Default settlement rule for the first line item is 100 % to AUC.

You are required to change it to requisite settlement amount or %age.

All in all, I would suggest you to take a look at the settlement rule and parameters within that.

PS : creation of AUC is determined by the investment profile used within the Project.

HEnce once released the WBSE will auto create AUC.

Also the settlement rule will be defaulted to 10% settlement to AUC.

Hello

As soon as you TECO the WBS and create a completed Asset (having AUC) and save the projects, a settlement rule will be created against the Asset (as per the Asset class mentioned by you, when you create completed Asset). The settlemnt rule will be 100% for that Asset. So if you want to settle some cost seperately to Cctr you have to maintain the settlement rule manually. Change the % wise distribution in settlement rule i.e. for example 60% against Asset and 40% against Cctr. The settlement will take place accordingly. Only 60% cost will be capitalised rest wil go to cctr.

Hope this helps.
