Steps to create new shell (DB2)

Hello All,

We have intalled TDMS software on server / central / reciver systems.

DB: DB2 (v9)

OS : AIX

System: ECC 6.0

Now we want to start with creation of shell. We already made full copy of production on sender system.

Please provide step by step apporach to create SHELL on receiver system.

Hello all,

We got the documentation part in process tree.

Now we are at "load table size" step which is failing now.

we did db export (sys copy). and Export dump of source is ready in export directory.

I maintained the export directory as /export_path , soon after I ran load tale size step

its failing

error: The specified export directory does not contain required files

the export dir contains : ABAP JAVA LABLE .ASC

can some body help..

Hi

You may skip rest of the steps in the process tree and proceed by copying the export dump to the target system and perform imports.

Your target system will be created without any issues.

Please add "ABAP" to the export directory path (it's not well documented, right).

Creating a shell is documented in the system itself, did you check that documentation?
