shipment Document

Hai,

We have done all the basic setting and try to create shipment Document in the VT01n,before delivery.

But it is not showing the open delivery.

Can anyone pls pour some light on it

Hiii,

Try attaching the open delivery again. In vt01n when you go to deliveries tab for attaching delivery make sure that in delivery status tab you keep status 'A' for both total gdsmvt stat and Trns.plan.status. and try processing shipment doc.

Hi,

To create the shipment document for a delivery there should be atleast a partial delivery against the delivery document.

It won't consider the delivery document whose status is open.

If goods are not shipped from your shipping point then how can we create the shipment document.

Hi,

check your customizing and compare it with the data in your delivery.

Goto LE->Transportation->Shipments->Maintain Transportation relevance

Check for Delivery Type, item category and route.

If the data in your delivery is relevant, than the transport should be created, otherwise mark Delivery Type, item category and route as relevant and try again.

there could be many reasons for this, some of which are:

1. delivery date range

2. route

3. shipping point

4. processing status of the deliveries

if you are trying to include deliveries into a shipment, and you know specifically which delivery documents you wish to include, look into the above details, include the relevance for transportation planning.

Shipment document can be created before Delivery. But then you create a delivery and Attach this delivery to Shipment Doc. .
