Hi Tina,

this is one possibility, which is pretty straight forward:

- Go to Portal Service and select the "Site Directory". Select the Portal, you want to translate, by hovering the tile and clicking "Edit". You will get redirected to the Portals Administration page

- On the Administration page, click on "Services and Tools". Click on the "Translation" Tile afterwards. Within this service you can maintain your translation files. By default there is only one - let me call this - "master-i18n" file created - but your table should be empty nevertheless (as you have no other translations yet)

- Click on "Download", a zip will be saved to your disk. Unzip the file. You will notice two files: <cryptic id>.properties and README.txt (Read the README.txt for the instructions and some explanations. You can also follow the steps below:)

- Make a copy of your properties file, and name it <cryptic id>_de.properties (for german translations). Open this file with your Notepad and translate the texts.

Afterwards just zip the file and upload it. The table below the buttons (Download and Upload) should be filled with one entry, which is in this case a translation file for the german language.

Do not forget to switch the slider to "on" for every of your translated languages and to publish your changes.

Hope this helps :-)

Best regards

Daniel
