Hi Guru,

I have this particular plant in which after the creation of the process order, the material requirement is not visible in MD04. But most of the plants we have are creating a requirment upon the creation of process order. Is there any config I need to do to this plant?

It is now creating a requirement for the Material itself in MD04 but not for the BOM of this material.

Dear,

Yes right as you have activeted MRP for ur Plant later, before that you have created material master so there is no planning file entry.

So you need to create planning file entry through MD20 manually.

Or create it through OMDU for your plant and schedule it in background by creating variant.

Then take your MRP run and check the result.

It can only be visible if I release the process order.

Dear,

Please check planning file entery is there or not you can check it through MD21.

Go to COR4 select your order type and plant in planning tap please check Reservation/Purc.req= 3 is there or not.

Else Create demand for FG in MD61 then take MRP run and check the result.

I just change the Reservation/Purc.req 2 to 3 and it works.

Did you check your setting in OPPQ for the plant?

Hi,

Ive checked this and its all ok.

Ive notice one. In mdab the plant is there. but when i checked the mdre the plant is not maintained there.

Is there any siginificant about this?

Dear,

Go to OPPQ select the fourth oprtion Copy plant parameter

FromPlnt MDAB

To Plant MDRE.

and save it.

Then check your result in MD04 also check OMDU MRP is active for plant MDRE.

I hope you have put a tick mark in transaction OMDU, and done all steps of MRP, setup planning file and consistancy check.

You are not able to see in MDRE since you have not part 2 and part 3 in transaction OMDU.

Please do it you will find it.

In case problem still persist, please revert.
