Should I use Statistical Key Figures for production values which change?

Hi

Should I use Statistical Key Figures for production values which change during the accounting period?

Scenario:

During production (mining industry) there are many figures associated with metal extraction to be reported on.

These are proposed to be entered in SAP Financials as Statistical Key Figures (SKFu2019s). During the accounting period they may however be subject to revision and the new figures (not the deltas) sent into SAP. The sending system does not keep track of what has been sent. If a new SK figure is sent then the system adds these together giving an incorrect result. Cannot use the spreadsheet and manual load process since we will lose the audit trail of who has made the adjustment.

Is there a way of overwriting the SKFu2019s or is this an appropriate use of SKFu2019s, if not what are the alternatives?
