E-recruitment: SAP to any Job-board via XI

We intend to impliment standard e-recruitment interface for posting/modifying/deleting Jobs to various Job boards. ( we need to send XML requests to the jobsites, so assume we will be using webservice)

This interface being standard, we have downloaded the E-Recruit software component and done basic config in ECC.

However is there any standard documentation available pointing step-by-step the config that we will need to do in PI and SAP-ECC?

Do we need to do any XTRA-customisation in XI after downloading all the standard SAP content.

I also wanted to know, can this standard SAP interface interact with all the major-boards avaialable like, Monster, Dice, Jobserve etc. (apologies for this naive question)

Appreciate your help on this.

Many thanks

You need to load the following software components into SAP NW XI

    SAP HR

    HR XML

Once you have loaded these three software components, you need to import the integration scenario

JobPositionPublication using the wizard in the ID.

The job posting are sent as HR-XML. If the job board can accept HR-XML, then you do not to have to create anything.

for list of members who will accept HR-XML.

SAP E-Recruiting uses a proxy to send the job publication to XI. A withdraw message can be sent if the job publication is withdraw in SAP E-Recruiting.

in addition to the description above for setting up the XI side. To use the XI integration you have to define a customer own posting channel using the publisher class CL_HRRCF_PUBLISHER_XI in e-recruiting.

Furthermore you have to activate the periodical service PUBLICATION_VIA_XI.

Unfortunately I cannot supply a list of job boards supporting the standard. You will probably have to check back with them personally.

    Kind Regards
