Hi,

For purchase offsetting account assignment,go to Transaction event key "EKG" and make the account assignments there.

And regarding the valuation class error, you can compare the valuation class of the material in OBYC for GBB-VBR and see if any GL is assisgned for that valuation class.

Consumption account cannot be determined

Message no. CK322

Diagnosis

Automatic account determination could not find a consumption account with the following criteria:

Chart of accounts : TAUS

Transaction : GBB

Valuation/acct modification : /VBR

Material/valuation class : 000000000000544248 /

Procedure

Check the Customizing settings for account determination.

Thats the error msg i m getting when i tried to execute CK11n and I believe in OBYC GL a/c should be determined. I checked the cost compnent structure in OKTZ and its there. But I went into OMWB and simulated the inventory for the material and I saw it says valuation group code is missing and purchasing offsetting a/c is missing in account assignment screen.Where should I go to look at it. Thanks

Hi,

check the valuation class of this material and make sure you have an entry in the OBYC for GBB/VBR modification string for the valuatin class. Your message did not have valuation class information. So check the material and valuation class.

Thanks

You could try checking these notes 413257 and 499168. These are applicable to releases 4.7 or earlier. The product you are trying to estimate may be a configurable material or batch is associated, probably.

Is the material a simple material with a normal Quantity structure?

Sri,

Its not a configurable material.system error suggests to look at OBYC for the valuation class , which I already checked ,its already there and GL a/c should be determined from there.

Thanks for reply

Plz check whether you have included that GL in the Cost component
