Problem Sap Gui access Business Explorer

I have a machine is the same with Windows Vista Home Premium, sap logon 7.10 - patch 13(gui710_13-10002995.exe)

ADD ON installed:

Access to the SAP system is perfect, but when I try to open the Bex query designer after informing username and password I get the error of communication rfc.

Message Error

SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=20 > Connect to SAP gateway failed

Connect_PM GWHOST=, GWSERV=sapgw00, SYSNR=00

LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host

ERROR hostname 'Mösken' unknown

TIME Thu May 28 15:27:19 200

COMPONENT NI (network interface)

RC -2

MODULE nixxhsl.cpp

LINE 242

DETAIL NiHsLGetNodeAddr: hostname cached as unknown

Already registered the server's hostname and ip in the host machine

I did the following steps that SAP asked, but error continued.

I recommend following procedure for upgrade:

1. Uninstall the bi frontend

2. Delete the bw containing folders like C:Program FilesSAPBusiness

ExplorerBI and C:Program FilesSAPFrontEndBw

3. reboot the system.

4. Download and install following versions from service market place:

BW 3.5 Addon

BI 7.0 Addon

Please, after this procedure, execute the frontend check tool as per

note 1229206 in order to verify the installation status.

Someone has been there or seen something?

    Hi Thiago,

    don't use any Umlaute such as ö, ä, ü.

Add the SAP Services to C:system32driversetc file 'services'.

I think it is same like WinXP.

    regards Sven

    Hi Thaigo,

We just had this issue at my work and the resolution is to enter the language code in the login box.

The langugage code is required as of patch bi710sp09_900-10004472.exe.
