Dear Gurus,
In OS07N ( or St06 old), the "PAGES OUT" value is too high, i.e 900/second. I read that this value has big impact on system performance and should not exceed 200/second.
How can I analyze this issue. What are the areas do I need to check for this high paging rate.
Ali
Hi Ali/Karthik,

Most of your queries are answered regarding SAP memory management.
I found it very informative. Hope you too.

Hi Karthik,
Please open a new question for this as you are replying to a message some 4 years old. Also look on http://help.sap.com on this issue as you need to change buffer sizes and restart the system

Graham
Hi
High page out refers to virtual memory management bottleneck, as more pages are stored in the swap space, it mainly has to do with the OS configuration. What platform are you using ? If it's Solaris + Oracle check out SAP Note 124199 & 570375 (especially to detect whether actually a memory issue exists).
Also refer the following page for : 'Recognizing & Solving memory related problems', http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/02/9627bc538111d1891b0000e8322f96/frameset.htm
