I have successfully executed the activities in Package settings and System Analysis(active phase) phases.
Now, I have two questions regarding the 3rd phase i.e Data transfer phase.
1.Before executing this phase, I want to find out how to check whether there is data in the sender system and receiver systems.
If there is no data in sender system, how to create data?
If there is data in receiver system, how to delete that data?
2.The first activity in the Data Transfer Phase is "Lock users in receiver system".
When I executed this , I am getting the message "Phase 'Data Transfer' of activity_id 'Lock users in receiver system' differs from active phase 'System Analysis' in package 90003"
the package that i am working with is 90003
Please suggest solutions for the above two points.
Thanks,

If you don't have any data in the sender system, what are you copying!? Sender system should be a source system with data to be copied. (your functional team could create data for you, but usually you'll use an existing system, or a copy of an existing system, as your sender system)
The deletion part, TDMS itself will take care of it (step "Start deletion of Data in Receiver System")

You have to execute all the steps in System Analysis phase (including "Confirm Settings") before you go on to Data Transfer phase.
Hope this helps,

if you are sure that you completed the whole steps in the last phase, you can manually set the activate sign pointing to the step the next phase.
