SAP Printer setup for Color Laser printer

Hi,

Currently i have just setup a printer in SAP successfully.

But as this printer is a color laser printer, the printouts are in colors.

Is there any settings which i can set it to monochrome?

Hello,

Did you checked the settings of the local printer. I believe the SAP printer invokes the local printers and the setting therfore needs to be maintained there .

Dear All Experts,

local User Cant Access Network Printer.

i can access only from SUPER user, so hw to do authorization for local user.

From any screen in SAP click on System. In the System menu, hover on User Profile and then click Own Data. On the Main User Profile screen, click the Defaults tab. In the Spool Control Section: For Output Device, type: LOCL Print Immediately: Check this.

Please follow the below steps

Go to Tcode : SPAD

Enter your printer name in Output Devices and click Display

Go to Output Attributes Tab

Check the section Output Attributes for list drivers and Smart Forms

There is one check box "Colour Printer". Just uncheck that selection.

Click on Save button to save the changes.

Check printing from SAP on the printer and confirm.

You might want to take a look at SAP Note 1036961 and review "New Device Type Selection Method in Trasaction SPAD", Document Version 1.50, Dated July 22, 2009. Once you have confirmed table TSPOPIP was updated the the Device type specific for your Color Laser Printer will have new "attributes". These attribuets need to be enabled under the Output Attributes Tab for the priner you are working with.
