Entering Packing Material in sales order

Hi,

the scenario is related to ink & Chemical industry.

the final product (fert) comprises of ink including its packing. there are 3 possibilities for packaging material. 10KG can, 25KG can & 30KG can.

my query is related to strategy of handling fert in sales order. should I make 3 materials for different packaging for same ink or should i make fert with variant configuration, or smthing else.

Hi, in this case I see only three option which can be handled by creating 3 FERT materials and selecting the relevant material at SO level.

Configurable materials are suggested where the characteristics and values are high in number.
