Hi,
We are trying to implement a Service scenario, where in we create a Complaint in CRM which replicates to R/3 as a Sales Order directly.
This works fine, until we implement Scenario A (SAP Note - 889051), in order to allow the order to be edited from R/3 as well.
It is critical in our case that we are able to edit the Sales Order in R/3, please let me know any suggestions or recommendations that you may have.
We are using SAP CRM 5.0, with IC Web Client.
Thanks & Regards,
Nelson.
Since we did not see any solution to the problem, we have resorted to creating a sales order in CRM which can be modified after replication to SAP ECC.

Hi Nelson,
Consider applying the Cross System Locks. This will enable the system, not to open the order in change mode in ECC and CRM at the same time.
Make this settings according to the note 888665

Hello Nelson,
I really did not get you. What exactly is your requirement?
You do not want to edit the Sales order in R/3?
Please note that Note:889051 is a consulting note.So if you want then only you can implement it,based on your business scenario and requirement.

Hi,
Our requirement is as follows:
1. Create Complaint 123 of type ABCD in CRM.
2. This Complaint has main items and sub items.
3. This Complaint now replicates to R/3 directly as a Sales Order.
4. So now, in R/3 we have Sales Order 123 of type ABCD.
5. We want to edit the Sales Order 123 in R/3 and have the changes made in R/3 to be distributed to CRM.
Thanks & Regards,
Nelson.
