Only balance sheet accounts have balances which need to be carried forward. Income accounts are not carried forward. Moreover balance sheet accounts cannot be created as a cost element. though it can be created with category 90 the postings in this acccount are statistical through cost objects.
In short no carry forward activity required in COPA. THis activity is a part of CO-PCA.COPA does not provide balance sheet info.
