Hi Rafa

I suppose you are working on a model which contains large amounts of data. That is why this error is coming. Once even I encountered this error when working on large data. All I did is to increase the RAM size and it got resolved. Even if u can increase the size of the allocated memory and the page file size , it might help solve the problem. I am not sure if this is the solution , but hope it helps.

Thank for the support!!!

Hi Rafa,

In case u are using a windows operating system, you can visit the control panel and click on the system icon. In the advanced tab you can go to the performance settings and change the size of the virtual memory and paging file size as well. A word of caution. Changing the settings here might cause the running of other components to slow down. Hope this helps,

Hi Rafa,

My first question would be as to whether you recieve this error opening the Data View tab in general, or only on a specific model. If it is a general error, then that could possibly indicate an issue with the OCX which is behind the Data View tab, or you may need to make more memory available. If the error only occurs with a specific PAS model, for example one you created but not the small JUICE or HFPBM test models then that would indicate it is very likely just size related.

Can you provide more information on the steps you are performing, including which models you are accessing, before you receive the error?

Thanks in advance,

Robert

Hi Robert

Answering your first question. This error occurs only with a specific model that I create.

The error occurs when there is a load of information through a procedure of approximately 1200 records. The load does not present any errors. When you want to display the information of my model on DataView, is when it giving me the error. The other model not present this problem.

This is the model parameters:

PEMEXTOIIP ´

C:Program FilesPilot SoftwareCommonHOMEPEMEXTOIIP

Partitions = 1

Last Access = 2009/06/02 16:04:15

Status = Enabled

State = In use (update)

Update user = PIPADMIN

Default User = Exclusive

Max Access = Update

Max Blocks = 511800

Block Size = 8192

Max Size = 32

Blocks Free = 510493

%BLOCKS Free = 99.74

Max Variables = 0

Max Memebers = 1000000

Max Observations = 1000

Multiples = 6

Input Multiples Only = No

Thank you for the support so far...

Hi Robert,

I build a new model. and guess what, the same error. Looks like is a problem with all the models that are exclusive or maybe, like you said in your first post, It´s a problem with de OCX. I was trying to change the buffer and memory parameters from my models but the same error occurs. Any idea to help?

Hi Rafa

Did you build the same model or a model of similar size ? If yes, then try building a model of a smaller size and fewer dimensions and check if you are getting the same error.
