Former Member

Hi all,

Using SAP NetWeaver Mobile (7.1) only

You can access the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator through the DOE. To do this, you must log on to the DOE and choose Data Orchestration Engine ® Data Orchestration Admin and Monitoring Portal.

When the Browser opened, i dont get any information, there comes "The page cannot be displayed"

But under DOE SETUP AND REPAIR i have installed all packages.

I have installed the SAP Netweaver AS ABAP 7.1 newly, so is there a step which i forget?

i hope you can help me

thanks

hassan

Hi Hassan,

After installation and performing Setup & Repair, you will have refer to the configuration guide to setup the administration.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/45/17a790d8000064e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm

Once you have navigated to the above given url,

Goto : Configuration of SAP NetWeaver AS --> Logging on to SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator

Hi

thanks for your answer,

that is what i have done. In the Logging on to SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator is written that i have to start the Data Orchestration Admin and Monitoring Portal.

There are two ways to access the SAP Netweaver Mobile Administrator

- over a portal

- over the DOE

I dont have installed a portal so i go over the DOE.

When i do this, the browser open but with the fault "The page cannot be displayed" ...

Thanks

Sorry i have found it and it was deactive. So i activated it but if i test it to log into the Data Orchestration Admin and MOnitoring Tool it comes the same fault

Hi,

Hope all the relevant services in the path mentioned are active as unless they are active ,this doesnt work.

But if its because of ICF service, it gives this info also in the error page that is loaded.

You might be getting page cannot be displayed with some error number?

Hi Hassan,

Check whether the services MMW_DEVICE_SYNC, DOE_TIMESERVICE, SDOE* services and SMMW* services are active. If they are not active, then activate and try launching the tool.

For more details refer Note : 1313207 .

So i have activate all the services, but there comes the same page.

There is no fault number...

This is the url:

http://sapnw71:0/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/sdoe_administration?sap-client=000&sap-language=EN

What is with this port? Could that be possible?

The page looks like this...

The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).

Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.

Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.

Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.

Hi,

The port is displayed as "0" . Please check whether it is the same port. The problem might be occuring because of different port number and hostname.

Check the below given link to obtain the port information .

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/5b/495db088354ff3bf6d7a5e9c1fa0e4/frameset.htm

If the port number and hostname are different, then that problem should be fixed.

Hi,

If you suspect something with the port number , you can cross check this in tcode : SICF again

execute >GOTO menu>port information

check the http port for the message server in the url.

Hi

i have checkt it, the host and port number are the same.

Have i configure something else before i could open this page?

Hi..

One more thing to check may be the role. In tcode SU01 ,for your user , please recheck if you have all SDOE* roles (admin should be there). To be precise : SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATOR

Regards,

Liji

Former Member

Yes my user has all the Doe - roles..but no more.

Maybe he needs another admin role?

greetings

Hi Hassan,

To access the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator, the administrators must be assigned the SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATOR role.

Check whether you have this role assigned and if not assign them. To configure the roles, refer the below given link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/c9/44ca6dd5404574bf919445ace4bc1c/frameset.htm

And usually the port number will not be "0". Can you cross check the port number also

Suma.

Hi,

i' ve assigned my user SAP* to all of the doe roles.

How can i check if the port number is correct?

I am writing the steps i have done from the installation..

I had a distributed installation, but all instances runs on my local server.

- Global host preparation

- Database instance

- Primary App. Server Instance

Then i installed the FrontEnd. I created a license key and then i set all the DOE roles to the user SAP*

Thats it!!!

Do i need something else to install? Have i forget to install or configure?

Gateway? WebDispatcher?

thanks hassan

Hi Hassan,

Tcode : SICF

execute >GOTO menu>port information

check the http port for the message server in the url.

If you are seeing http port for the host (message server : sapnw71 ) as 0 , then i guess that is the right port. The service column contains the port number for the corresponding host.

Regards,

Liji

So i have checked it and the port is 0

so it is correct.

I changed to the service sdoe_administration and see that there are no logon data configured.

Is this correct too?

The procedure is set to standard.

Former Member

Hi Hassan,

This is also correct and while logging in , the logon screen will pop-up usually where credentials could be entered for that user.

Ok,

what is with the Target System??? There is no destination in the configuration about the Role SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATION.

Is this correct too?

What is with the WebDispatcher?

Hi Hassan,

That target system for a role is about an RFC destination of a different system, if the transactions of the role are to be started in this other system.

In this case , I guess its the same system(DOE server) and hence its fine to have it blank.

May be you can try giving the ip address of the server in the link <http://ipaddress:port>. This is just a blind try as ideally message server and ipaddress at the end represents the same.

IP address could be fetch from system menu in any transaction.

system menu>status>down there will be a button next to navigate button (other kernel info)

Also if you see multiple http ports for your message server, try with them too..

Liji

Hi,

thank you...

I tried it, but no port works.

What can i do?? Reinstall the system? Do you think there are any problems within the installation?

Should i install it in the standard way, not the distributed!!!

But i think in my case it is the same...

Have i configure something at first? Basic Configs or something else?

greetings...

Hi

i think i have found the problem.

If i start the trans. SICF -> Execute

Right-Click to default host ( down ) and test virtual host.

There comes the message ( could not find host and port information )

Do you know what to do here?

greetings

Former Member

Hi,

When I checked our systems , we get the same error msg for VIRTUAL DEFAULT HOST..and things are working fine even after this message.

Ok,

so can you say me, what for details you have for the service sdoe_amdinistration?

e.g. are there any handler list filled`? service data? logon data?

thanks.

There is nothing specified explicitly in any of these tabs for the sdoe_administration service.

All are default ones selected.

Any issue with ICF service , you will get an error message specific to the service(like check whether your service is active or not) not this general error message.

When I tried giving a wrong port number in the url only , I got the similar error message.

Liji

So i have started the icf service.

Why all of these services are inactive? The icm service is inactive too!"

I tried to get all active ports ( netstat in dos ) and changed the url

but nothing works....i dont know what to do?

What did you after installation for SAP NW AS ABAP 7.1 ???

Port number should not be 0. This is the problem. Check with system administrator to get the correct port number for HTTP / HTTPS.

Siva.

Thanks i think so too..

I dont have any chance to ask somebody instead of you, because i have installed the system and i have to develop a mobile application. It is based on the flightbooking model.

Do you know how i could change the port?

greetings...

Goto SE38.

Execute report RSPARAM

Find for the string PROT=HTTP in the output list displayed.

There should be two values.

User defined, System default

I think in your case User defines values should be blank for this row. and system default value should be either 0 or five digit number with $$.

You have to replace $$ with the system number (You can get this system number from SAP LOgon pad).

Siva.

icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=0,TIMEOUT=30,PROCTIMEOUT=60 PROT=HTTP,PORT=0,TIMEOUT=30,PROCTIMEOUT=60 $(icm[$(system/type)]/server_port_0)

That is what i found, but i cant change anything within this table..

Try the following:

Goto SICF transaction

Click on Execute button.

Choose "GoTo" -> ICM Monitor option from menu bar.

Choose "GoTo" -> Services option from menu bar

Select HTTP record and choose "Service" -> Change option from menu bar.

Here you can provide new port value. I think after this system restart is required.

Siva.

i have changed my port to 50014 and now the admin site will shown

but the SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATION it comes the fault...

What is the Host name you see by using previous steps what i've mentioned.

It should contain domain names...

Hi ,

Please check this link In this check out the section

Web Dynpro ABAP Configuration-->Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDN) and again check the section Setting the FQDN

I guess this domain error has something to do with FQDN.

If you are trying this out in the same box where WEBAS is installed, may be you can checkout with http://localhost:port.

Liji

There is only my hostname without domain name.

I am not in a domain...only in a workgroup..

So i tried it like http://localhost:port ...

The other sites like connection ping etc. webadm .. is going to work

but the sites with the DOE ( SAP_DOE_ADMIN::) takes a lot of time till the browser shows the failure "Connection timed out after 300 sec".

Another service in this path works, the browser shows the site after 3 minutes..

I have increased the time out but the same problem!

Need SAP so much of ressources to show the DOE_ADMIN?

hassan

SO it works now,

i have set the time out ( sec. ) to 500 sec.

I hope it will works in future too.

But it is not allowed to restart my application server, because it will set my port to "0" again.

Do you know where i could save it in config or something else.?

many greetings and a lot of thanks for your help

Hi Hassan,

Great ..it worked finally..

If you want to have the port configured permanently, they say it need to be part of a profile parameter.

TCODE : RZ11.

The parameter : icm/server_port_<xx>

For more details please refer to the link

In this link check out the node : icm/server_port_<xx>

Hope this helps.

Liji
