CIF PPM form R/3 to APO

Former Member

HI Gurus,

I am trying to CIF some PPMs to APO. When I activate the integration model, no error appear.

However the PPM is not created at APO.

I am not using Processing Formulas in the R/3 work center, is there a way to send the PPMs whitout the formulas?

If not, should I maintain these formulas to all capacities (machine and person)?

thanks a lot and regards,

Luiz

yes you have to enter at least one formaula. without this you can not send the PPM.

since PPM at the time of generation consider this.

But when you check consistancy check system will check it.

can you check your selection criteria, is those materials comming in integration model?

What i mean to say like in integration model creation you might have selected the materials which are X0, but in material master there is no X0.

Please check and revert.

Hi,

Plz make sure that you include the BOM and Materials with a valid production version in the Integration model. Also ensure that the workcenter/Resource should either have been Sent before or you send it along with PPM and BOM.

Hi,

Send PPM along with BOM and Product. Without BOM, PPM can't be created.

You have to make sure the material is present in an active integration model before sending the PPM. That will fix your issue.

The following prerequisites are prerequisites for tranferring PPMs

A production version must be created in SAP R/3 to enable the transfer of master data to the PPM in SAP APO.

If no data was sent to SAP APO despite a PPM being selected for the generation of the integration model, you should check the following:

· There must be a valid plan in the production version for Detailed Scheduling. The bill of material (BOM) must be valid until the key date (in case the validity period of the production version changes).

· At least one operation must be assigned to a work center because only assigned operations are transferred to SAP APO.

· In the work center, formulas for scheduling and capacity must be maintained for operations, otherwise operations are not transferred to SAP APO.

· The standard values must be maintained in the operation detail. If times have not been maintained for operations/phases, they are not transferred to SAP APO.

· You must ensure that the scheduling indicator is set in the control key because only those operations relevant to scheduling are transferred.

· The leading material must be contained in an active integration model, otherwise the PPM is not transferred to SAP APO.

· The components of the BOM must be contained in an active integration model, otherwise the components are not transferred to SAP APO.

Hi,

Make sure that you have entered the Setup time, Machine and Labor time according to the formula

Please check

1. the BOMs and Production versions are valid in R/3.

2. The material has the procurement type "E" or "X"

3. check the queues in both R/3 and APO using /SAPAPO/CQ

4. CHECK THE IM for PPM is active and contains this PPM

Please check CFG1 log in R/3 and SLG1 log in APO for the time in which you ran IM for PPM.

Also check queues by SMQ1 and SMQ2 transaction in R/3 and APO.

Also check /SAPAPO/CQ in APO.

in APO please get log from /SAPAPO/C3..you no need to enter any objects there..you should see by default just check for the error logs..similarly with CFG1 in R/3

Thanks
