C4C extended edition app: launch external app from C4C

Dear Colleagues,

In archived question C4C extended edition app: launch external app from C4C ankan.banerjee stated that to use native navigation feature to another app it's possible to utilise an URL mashup. I followed the steps provided in that post and created a new URL mashup successfully. In desktop (e.g. in browser) my new entry is under Web Services menu in a work ticket. However, I can not see any new entry in the menu inside a work ticket within C4Cex app to call that URL mashup.

So the question is: how to bring Web Services menu entries to C4Cex app?

OS in question is Android. I haven't tested iOS yet.

UPD: Tested on iOS. Result - and iOS as well in question.

Hi Andrey,

I believe you have added the mashup only in Silverlight client. Please note that similar change has to be done on HTML5 client using Adaptation mode.

As your requirement is to have the mashup in C4C extended app, I would request you to use the below URL and add the mashup using adaptation mode.

The extended app is built on tablet floor plan and hence the changes made using the below tablet floor plan link will take effect in the app.

Once the changes are done, your URL mashup should be available in both Android and IOS platforms.
