Error 'Enter a controlling area' (notification->order)

Hi Experts,

I open a notification in change mode, try to create an order from there, functional location already comes up in order's header data tab. Now, the problem is that when I click on 'Location' tab, I get an error 'Enter a controlling area'. If I clear the functional location in header tab, press enter, give the same functional location again, press enter and then go to 'Location' tab I don't get the error message pop-up.

I think that it is because of some variable that is not getting cleared the first time. Any suggestions?

What is the full message text including message number?

Also, have a look in the FLoc (IL03) to ensure a planning plant and company code are set on the Organisation tab.
