Email shold be sent after locking an entry

hi everyone,

I am new to HR HCM Developments. I have configured bank information service in portal.

When user creates new entry it should get locked and one mail should be sent to administrator.

So i implemented a badi to lock the entry. But i am nt able to send the mail.

Is there any standard method or process to shoot mail whenevr the user will create and save the new entry?

If change is done through PA* tcode, this can be done through dynamic action when IT0009 is created / changed using 'M' (send mail) in indicator step calling feature similar to 'M0001'.

However, ESS updates infotypes through specific function, I'm not sure if dynamic actions will be triggered . If not, you could probably call this 'send mail' feature within your current BADI (to lock entry) or simply just call SAP function to send mail (e.g. 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1') .
