BOPF Resolving node for associations

Hello,

We are starting-up a training on BOPF and have a rather theoretical question about associations we have been discussing about and that we cannot answer clearly.

Can anyone explain us the difference between source- and target-resolved associations with some clear examples? All we find is "Souce/Target node contains information necessary for resolving the association". But when should one use one or the other?

Thanks very much.

Kris

You should go to transaction BOBX and then navigate on an association. Then click into the dropdown, where you can choose the resolve-type and press F1-Button (for help). Then there is a description which type you should choose depending on you scenario. It's linked to the buffer of the bopf.
