Does BOBJ 4.2 support multiple Identify Providers for SSO?

We've recently upgraded to BOBJ 4.2. We've had Active Directory SSO to our BI Launchpad for years. Still works well.

We are also going through a digital transformation where new reporting will be on Enterprise HANA and be offered through Fiori Tiles. All of our new systems are using SAML2 for SSO.

It is clear that both options work with BOBJ 4.2. Can you do both? Can my "legacy" users come through their traditional AD path and my new users come through a different route using SAML? If so, do I need separate Tomcat's on the front to handle this?

you should be to do it. There is no need for separate Tomcat.

I'm not sure if the blogs mention but if you have multiple front end sso you can use the sso.types.and.order https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/preview/en/2041379 to allow multiple SSO types and use the same tomcat deployment.
