How to delay scheduled Preventive Maintence when Corr. Maint. occurs.

Assuming that we have a equipment that will generate a PM work order at the end of the month (31). How would we delay or skip to the next month a scheduled Preventive Maintence work order on a piece of equipment if we had to do Corrective Maintenance on the equipment (today (5/27))?
