COMAC and Check group rules/availability check control in Configuration

Hello all,

Is there anyway to set a different check group rules based on business functions (sales, distribution, production). I notice that the way it works currently in our setup in SAP is that Sales, Distribution, and Production are all working with the same check group rules. What if Sales wants to include purchase requisitions in their control for availability but Production does not want to include requisitions, is there any way in configuration to seperate these when both (sales and production) needs to run checks for availability on the same materials?
