Rebuild RE80 / SE80 menu - tree in splitter container

Hello,

I'm trying to create an ALV output with one tree at the left and two grids at the right. For layout I would prefer displaying it like RE80 or SE80 screen. My question is about the tree at the left in combination with the splitter container. It worked for me building a global custom container in which I use two splitter, one at the left for the tree and one at the right for the grids. But how can I place buttons on the left on top of the tree like in RE80/SE80 In my dynpro I only got the global custom container.

Regards

Michael

One more vertical splitter with a Toolbar control.

TA ABAPDOCU does it like that.

Ah yes, thanks! I got the toolbar control now. But how can I add text and dropdown text fields there like in RE80/SE80? I found all kind of button types but no option to place a text field in there. Or is there a small HTML control between the tree and the toolbar control in SE80?

SE80 uses a trick that is not released and undocumented. In ABAPDOCU, I do that with HTML controls.

Can you give me a hint of how it is implemented in ABAPDOCU? I need the part of the screenshot below but not really an expert in doing HTML coding. Or might it be easier with trick in SE80?

I need...

(1) The search field which reacts after clicking on enter.

(2) The button which opens a value help. The selected value of the value-help should be transfered into the search field of (1).

I found some coding snippets with HTML coding which display a text field and the button and I also got the SAPEVENT method which handles (1) and (2). But I do not understand how to differentiate between the enter and the button click, because in SAP event all parameters look the same in both cases. And I do not understand how the SAP icon is displayed in the button, I only got the text in there.

Regards

Michael
