New Material Flag Indicator - Material Master

Hi Everyone,

We are migrating Materials from Oracle ERP to SAP. In the oracle ERP, There are few new materials and few old materials. While creating material in SAP, We are asked us to update the Flag to indicate whether the material is new or old. If it is new We have to update it as XYZ and if it is old we have to update the flag as ABC.

So, Can anyone help us in identifying the SAP Field or Custom SAP Field to update as per above requirement.

Use External material flag in Basic data 1.

You've to add entries (XYZ, ABC) in V_TWEW.
