Hello guys,
since a few days we have a big problem with our system. After a undefined time all workprocesses are full by executing the report SAPLSPOX.
--> they try to create an output to table TSP01
SURE the solution is to run a job which deletes old printouts (RSPO0041)
But I'm having this problem since days.
NOW I want to increase the number of max. spool requests????
Or is there a better solution????
It's very busioness critical at the moment.
Cheers
christian
we have solved this issue by upgrading Oracle from 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4. SAP has investigate it on our system and it had to do with oracle bug 6376915. In this case, please refer to SAP note 1166242 and try to fix this bug or upgrade to 10.2.0.4.

Hello together,
thanks all four your help.
I have changed the max. spool requests from 32000 to 80000 and I run into this problem last evening again.
Are there any other settings to change. Buffers or something like that........
Please help me because of system standstill each time we run into this situation.
Cheers
Christian
If you have followed the Notes 48284, 108799 then there should not be much problem. you can consider TemSe re-organziation too Note 48400 - Reorganization of TemSe and Spool to double check if any inconsistency is there.
However, what kind of print server you have, i mean, Are all the printers in the network ? sometimes problem comes while querying the printers from the print server and spool work processess hang in querying the spool server. in SPAD you have an option to check/uncheck the 'query to host spooler' for any specific printer
Note 48284 - System can no longer create spool requests
and regarding workprocess getting full, how many spool work processes defined in your system ? If it is only one, then you might want to have two or three
