New Scanned Invoice not opening original document in HTML5

In silverlight when I add an original document for a new scanned invoice the PDF opens on the right hand side of the screen in HTML5 the original only has a link saying open external. This also happens during invoice approval.

Does any one know how to fix this? is it browser settings or PDF viewer etc. we as a company are using IE11.0.96000.19080

Hi Richard,

Actually this is the expected behavior in HTML5 client. The HTML5 client is using the different framework from the Silverlight client, so they will have the different behavior in this scenario. You need open that PDF file in the other browser window.

I have recently tested this using Chrome as the browser and this behaviour does not happen this is purely SAP Bydesign cloud running through IE or Edge. So this answer is no wholly true. It is whether the is a fix for behaviour under IE or some addin or browser setting which need to be changed.
