how to translate Vietnamese with SAP ERP.

Hi all,

My system need to translate Vietnamese. The language file with Material Number: 51036758 downloaded. Now how to import it. I refer to note 1312188, it need to import SAPKLVI700ABY18W20F0. how to import SAPKLVI700ABY18W20F0? Please, give me detailed explanation!!

Hi Luong,

You can upload 51036758 package to SAP server with permission of SAP's user owner and unzip this package. After that, using transaction SMLT for import this package.

Hi,

I'm taking a error with vietnamese display when smartforms printing.

I have a smartform using Vietnamese characters. It works well in preview mode.

But when i try to print it out, it's wrong.

I used font COURIER for smartform.

In Device Type, i used driver: SWIN and Characters Set is 8805 (Microsoft 1258).

Please help!

Dear Duy,

For ERP, please use the following Material Number:

51036759.zip ERP 6.0 Language Vietnamese (SAP Note 1294592)

Extract and put the extracted file .PAT in EPS/in

Start SMLT

Language --> Classify

If VI is not present in the list

Goto --> Other Tools --> NLS installation tool

Click on "Extend Language List" button

Language Key VI

Execute

Back

Now add VI in the list and Activate

Restart SMLT (/nSMLT)

You can now classify Vietnamese language.

For import: Select Vietnamese language --> Import Package

Find Package (default path /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in)

Select the package then execute the import

I am using SMLT to import Vietnamese into the sap Ecc 6.0. I did as the way of Tuong-Huy Nguyen but I don't know in the path /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in, which package I can import, it contains a lot of file.

Can you show me the way to do more detail?

Actually, I don't know whether /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in contains the package I need to import or not? If it does not contain, where I can get it? Please help me, thanks!
