Problem with storage Bin

Dear All,

My request is like

in material master i have assigned Storage bin ( WH2 view ) but at the time of creating Transfer Order if user put different storage bin then system accept that at post the material to other storage bin .... ( not puting material in storage bin mentioned in material master)

i want to block the TO if user mention any different storage bin at the time of creating TO

PL. HELP

I mention X to Addn to stock but system give same error message

If you have st.pl.str. "Fixed bin", add.to ex.st. must be allowed

MY STORAGE TYPE SETTING ARE AS FOLLOWS

1. OUTAWAY STRATEGY: F

2. STOCK REMOVAL STRATEGY : F

3. TICK ON STOCK REMOVAL REQD CONFIR

4.TICK ON FULL STK RMVL REQD. ACT

5.TICK ON RETURM MATL TO SAME STORAGE BIN

6. TICK ON SUT CHECK ACTIVE

7. TICK ON STORG.SEC.CHECK ACTIVE

Remove the tick on point no:6 & 7 & check.

but if i want to change Putaway strategy from L to F then system gives follwing error message

HI,

When you are using putaway Strategy 'F-Fixed Bin' you have to mark the Add to Stock indicator as 'X - add to existing stock allowed' in your storage type settings.

Only if you set this indicator, system will putaway the stock in the same bin (add to the same bin) as mentioned in the material master whenever you do a Receipt.

As mentioned please select putaway strategy as fixed bin. system will select the fixed bin only.

against mov.type 201

WHNO-- REF.MOV.TYPE- WH MOV.TYPE- TR CREATE--- IMMEDIALTLY

XXX -- 201 --- 201 --- X --- X

Hi,

I hope the Bin no: which we enter in the WM-2 view of material master is considered as a fixed bin & its normally used in Storage type with Putaway Strategy - F (Fixed Bins).

Since your requirement is to restrict the stock putaway to only this particular bin. you can use the option of fixed bin Strategy so that system will automatically putaway the stock in the bin which you have mentioned in the material master.

Create your TO automatically and do not authorise confirmation in an other bin.
