I found these question but it was 2 years ago.

Does SAP public the source code of their app in the https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com?

My company is running HANA, with quite a lot of customized UI5/Fiori app. Now it want to do some prior test/check before deploy stardard apps.

Regards, Binh

By what I know, no.

You can only check the code, if you have the required SAP package in your system and you can check the code on the SE80 - BSP Aplications or as said on that link, downloading it.

For what would you need the Apps code?

I intend to import the code & odata... into our system without install some components by Maintenance Planner to see how the app works.

Using Maintenance Planner, I need to contact to basis team as well as asking for upper approval which take quite a long time

Yes, probably you will need to contact with basis to install the required components.

Specified in -> FioriAppsLibrary -> IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATION -> Installation -> Back and Front

No need to use Maintenance Planner, if you just say the components (for example):

Support Package Stack02 (05/2018) FP
Software Component VersionS4CORE 102 - SP 0002

They should be able to install it.

Also , before, you can check wich one you alredy have installed , in your system.

In you SAP System, on the TopBar - got to System - Status - InfoDetail Button.

There you have the complete list of installed components.

I would think that the SAP Cloud Appliance Library might be the best solution for your question. But also at https://www.sapfioritrial.com/ you have the option to try out the extension of Fiori apps which includes also downloading the original app into Web IDE.

Hi, thanks for your answers.

My company is running HANA, we have lot of customized UI5 app.

Now we want to add / convert some of customized apps to standard fiori apps. Therefore we want to have a look inside of standard apps. We are not first time users

Thanks

Is your company using pure HANA with custom developed apps or S/4HANA?

We have R3 and S/4HANA running along side. We also have customized ABAP programs and BSP for UI5 apps

Then the options that I've provided are valid for you. In the SAP Cloud Appliance Library you can spin up S/4HANA and SAP ERP Systems. For the S/4HANA Fully Activated system I can confirm that all S/4HANA Fiori Apps are available. Not sure for ERP. Or you work on getting ERP and S/4HANA Sandbox systems in your own landscape as Cristian Babei suggested.

Hi Gregor,

WebIDE is the tool for deploying or extending.

  1. Review the extensibility options
  2. Create an Extension Project for the app
  3. Navigate to the required extension point using the Extensibility Preview
  4. Generate the custom extension for each extension point you want to use
  5. Implement your custom extension(s)
  6. Test your extension in the SAP Cloud Platform Web IDE
  7. Deploy your extension to your Fiori Frontend Server's SAPUI5 ABAP Repository
