Hi,
I need some of your experience on SAP APO. I am a certified SAP MM Consultant and I want to learn SAP APO. Can anybody point me in the right direction or give me some advise on APO. I know it is a collaboration of various other areas in SCM, like supply network planning, demand planning or scheduling etc...
Please reply.
Regards
Hi,
As you are MM consultant, the best advanced thing for you to learn is SRM. In terms of SCM, you can learn SNC or SNP as per your interest.

Hi,
As you are certified SAP MM consultant then you should go for SAP SRM.
Right now very good opportunity is there for SAP SRM even in this recession.
But still if want to work in SAP APO then go for SAP DP, SNP and SNC.

Hi,
Basically APO is planning tool which having sub module like Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning. Production Planning/ Detailed scheduling, Global Availabe to promiss & Transportation Planning & detailed scheduling.
If you know these thing theoritically also then also you can learn APO. E.g. Production Planning Module
Becz APO is measurly based up on PP. All the Master data of APO get transferd from R/3 like Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center etc.
So if you want to learn APO then I would suggest to go ahead.
